Join Nora Lieberman @noramakes in an intro to watercolor class, plants edition! Nora, a DC artist and educator, will lead you through the techniques you need to create the lush plant life that thrives at the shop.

Each student will be provided with a watercolor palette, paint brushes and high quality paper to make their masterpiece. Together we will learn how to create a fig tree, a pothos, a snake plant and a string of pearls plant. Or, feel free to take inspiration from what you see around the shop!

Dye sessions act as an interactive introduction to natural dye. Every dye session is uniquely tailored to each group and may change seasonally due to the availability of natural dye materials. Each participant will work with 27x27 cotton bandanas to learn and practice a variety of dye techniques.

About the Instructor:

Fatima Janneh is a Gambian American fiber and textiles artist. Based in DC, she works primarily with natural dye and is an avid knitter. Currently teaching dye workshops and selling at markets around the city.

Repotting Basics Class

Come join us for a hands-on repotting basics class at indigro plant design! We'll talk about soil composition as well as when & how to repot yoru plants (and when not to repot) to ensure your plants continue thriving in their new pot.

Class fee includes one 4" or 6" repot so bring your bb's to class. Addtional repots are a minimum $10 and repotting is always free when you buy a pot from us.
